Please note the following announcements for this week : 

1. YCTA’s will be having Fun Day Camp on 12/21 & 12/22

If anyone is interested in signing their child(ren) for Fun Day Camp, please contact us or let one of the Masters know. For more information, please take a look at the pdf attached to this email.

2. Color Belt Exams & Belt Ceremony

Color Belts are still doing qualifications until 12/19 and will be having exams on 12/20 & 12/21. The Belt Ceremony will be on Sat.12/23. For more information, please take a look at the pdf attached to this email.

3. YCTA’s Christmas Party & Talent Show

YCTA will be having our Christmas Party & Talent Show on Sat.12/23 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Students are encouraged to participate in the Talent Show if they would like to perform any talents such as singing, dancing, playing an instrument, etc. If you have any questions please ask Master JuChan or Master Ayala. 4. Make-Up Classes Sat.12/16

There will be Make-Up classes for the dates listed above. Family Make-Up Class @ 10am & Peewee Make-Up Class @ 11:10am.

5. No Classes due to Color Belt Exams & the Holiday Season

There will be no classes on 12/20 to 12/22 due to Color Belt exams. There will also be no classes on 12/25,12/26, and from 12/30 to 01/01/24 due to the holiday season.

6. Diaper Drive

In partnership with Life First (lifefirstva.org), YCTA will host a Diaper Drive from Monday, November 13 to Friday, December 15.

YCTA is still holding Buddy Week until 12/8. If any new members sign-up this week, they will receive a discount once they register.

5. Make-Up Classes on Sat.12/9 & Sat.12/16

Please note the following announcements for this week:

1. Color Belt Qualifications will be starting today Wed.Nov.29 to Tue.Dec.19

Students will now begin qualifications, and Children’s Group must study their questions as well. If students have any questions about which numbers they have to study, please ask one of the Masters for more information.

2. Make-Up Classes on Saturday during December

YCTA will be having make-up classes on 12/02,12/09, and 12/16. There will be a 10am Family Class, as well as an 11:10am Peewee Class for the three dates mentioned before.

3. YCTA’s Nerf War on Sat.Dec.2 from 3:30pm to 6:30pm

We will be having the final Nerf War for 2023 this coming Saturday, and registration is still open. If any students are interested, they can go ahead and sign-up at the front counter. Students will need to bring their Nerf Guns, water bottle, socks, and wear any YCTA shirt and long pants.

4. Buddy Week Starting Mon.Dec.4 to Fri.Dec.8

Students are able to bring anyone that has never done Tae Kwon Do before with them during their regular class for a Free-Trial Lesson. If anyone is planning to bring someone, we just ask that we be informed ahead of time, if possible.

5. Diaper Drive 

In partnership with Life First (lifefirstva.org), YCTA will host a Diaper Drive from Monday, November 13 to Friday, December 15.

Please note this week’s announcement for the upcoming event:

1. Nerf War and Parent’s Night Out is Now Open for Registration
   YCTA’s last Nerf War and Parent’s Night Out for 2023 will be on Sat.Dec.2 from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. If your child(ren) is interested in joining please come into the office, or contact us to register them.
2. No Class During Thanksgiving Break
   Starting from Wed.Nov.22 to Sat.Nov.27, YCTA will not be having any classes. Regular schedule will resume from Mon.Nov.27. If you have any questions about the schedule, please feel free to ask one of the Masters for more information.
3. Make-Up Class this Saturday,Nov.18
   This Saturday we will be having a Make-Up Family class @ 10am and a Make-Up Peewee Class @ 11:10 am.
4. Buddy Week Starting Mon.Dec.4 to Fri.Dec.8
   Students will be able to bring any friends, family members, etc.,to their class for that week for a free trial lesson. If anyone is interested, we ask if you are able to inform Masters or Instructors for when you or your child(ren) would bring someone for class.

5. 2023 DMV Open Taekwondo Championship -Register by Oct.05

If you or your child will participate in the DMV championship ,be there by 9am to sit and stay together.
